Scripture: "And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod. So David and all the house of Israel were bringing up the ark of the LORD with shouting and the sound of the trumpet." (2 Samuel 6:14-15)

Inspiration: Have you ever been so deep in the dumps that you wanted to just lie down and die? I have visited the dumps many times. While there, I felt as if all of my energy had gone and all hope with it. David, like many of us, visited the dumps a few times, but it's what he did while he was there that is significant. One time David came back from war and found that all of his possessions had been stolen. When pinned against the wall, the bible says in 1 Samuel 30:6, "David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God." We see time and time again, whenever David was faced with opposition of any kind, he found his way to God. You may be saying, "April I just don't have the strength!" Neither did David; he found strength in the LORD his GOD. The word of God tells us that in our weakness HE is made strong, that HE is our present help in time of trouble. David didn't rely on his own strength, because he knew where his strength came from; God was his source! David understood the power in praising God. It's interesting that, whenever it's time for a goat to shed the old coat, he began to dance. He twirls and leaps in the air again and again until the old coat falls off! When we began to dance in the presence of the LORD, every weight- all of our worries, cares, frustration, oppression, depression, insecurities, hurts, pains, will begin to shed. So, my brothers and sisters, shall we dance?

Prayer: Lord, we thank You for this new day that You have given us.  A day that is filled with opportunities for us to come before Your presence with thanksgiving and praise; a day that is filled with opportunities for us to walk even closer with You; a day that is filled with opportunities to simply say thank You for all that You have done.  Although we feel like the weight of the world has been placed on our shoulders, we will dance as David did. We thank You Lord that the fullness of joy is in Your presence; we thank You that You inhabit the praises of Your people; we thank You that in Your presence there is peace, love and joy! As we decide to praise You today, God, we thank You for every weight that is weighing us down, being removed from our shoulders.  We cast all of our cares upon You because You care for us! We cast every care on You because You are our strong tower; You are our rock; You are our shield and buckler; You are our Jehovah Jireh; You are our El Shaddi; You are our healer; You are our hope when we are hopeless; You are our present help in time of trouble; You are our hill from whence cometh our help; You are our prince of peace; You are everything that we need and Your grace is sufficient!  Thank You, Lord, for all that You have done for us, and for that we praise you! For that, we magnify Your name! For that, We exalt You and praise Your forever and ever! In Jesus' name, Amen!

Scripture: "Now the LORD saw that Leah was unloved, and He opened her womb, but Rachel was barren. Leah conceived and bore a son and named him Reuben, for she said, "Because the LORD has seen my affliction; surely now my husband will love me." (Genesis 29:31-32)

Inspiration: It is human to want to feel loved and accepted by someone and in many cases, anyone. Leah wanted so dearly to be loved by her husband, Jacob. After bearing her first child, she thought surely my husband will love me. Then she bore a second time, still no love. Then she bore a third time, still no love from her husband, Jacob. After bearing child after child, she still didn't receive the love she desired from him. But in the next verse, something happens on the inside of Leah! Genesis 29:35 says, "And she conceived again and bore a son and said, 'This time I will praise the LORD'.Therefore she named him Judah. Then she stopped bearing." You see, the moment Leah stopped trying to make Jacob love her; the moment she stopped trying to get Jacob to see what was growing in the inside of her; the moment she took her eyes off the man and started looking to GOD, is the moment things began to change for her. Some of us are trying too hard to show folks we love them! Some of us are trying too hard to get people to accept us! Some of us are trying too hard to get people to love us back!  The bible says that Leah gave birth to Judah and stopped bearing. Some of us are bearing too many Reubens, Simeons and Levis, when we need to bear some Judahs! Leah began to give glory, honor, and praise to God, instead of a man. Now, that's what I call a praise on the inside that you can't keep to yourself!

Prayer: Father, thank You for everything that You have given us. We ask that You would forgive us for the times we failed to give You the praise that You deserved.  Help us to see past our circumstances, heartaches and pain, praise You in the middle of it. We desire to be a people who are pregnant with Judah! When we feel unloved by people, we give you Judah! When people turn their backs on us, Lord, we give you Judah! When all hell break loose in our homes and on our jobs, Lord, we give You Judah! When people that we love wish us evil, Lord, we give You Judah! When we are talked about, criticized and looked down on, Lord, we give You Judah! When we don't know what do and are pressed on every side, Lord, we give You Judah! We give You Judah! We give You Judah! In Jesus' name, Amen.

Scripture: "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to give you an answer concerning this matter. "If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the furnace of blazing fire; and He will deliver us out of your hand, O king. "But even if He does not, let it be known to you, O king, that we are not going to serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up."
(Daniel 3:16-18)

Inspiration: Imagine going to work everyday doing exactly what you were hired to do. You come in to work with a good attitude, you treat everyone with kindness, and you even are a good team player. After years of employment, and being faithful on your job, you come in to find that someone has accused you of doing something wrong, when in fact, you were just doing your job! What would be your reaction? Well, the bible describes Daniel and his friends as having this type of character. "Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, the chief of his officials, to bring in some of the sons of Israel, including some of the royal family and of the nobles, youths in whom was no defect, who were good-looking, showing intelligence in every branch of wisdom, endowed with understanding and discerning knowledge, and who had ability for serving in the king's court; and he ordered him to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans" (Daniel 1:3-4). Not just anyone could serve in the king's court. The men had to meet a certain criteria, so that the king could be certain that they would serve him faithfully and perform to the best of their ability. I said all of that, to say-not only is going to our 9-5 our job, but serving God is also our job. We know that Daniel and the Hebrew boys came in and did their duty to king Nebuchadnezzar, but they also had a duty to their God. When they would not bow down to the king's false gods, he had them thrown into the fiery furnace. But because they did not bow down, God delivered them from the fiery furnace, and even king Nebuchadnezzar had to acknowledge the Almighty God! You don't have to bow down to depression; you don't have to bow down to inferiority; you don't have to bow down witchcraft; you don't have to bow down to lack; you don't have to bow down to stress; you don't have to bow down to worry; you don't have to bow down to anything outside the will of God for your life-the circumstances must acknowledge and bow down to God! The Hebrew boys refused to bow down to the king's demands of idol worship. They were men of godly noble character, who were dedicated to God. The bible tells us that we can't serve two masters; we will love the one and hate the other. Don't bow down to your circumstances, because when you know Jesus, your circumstances has to bow down to Him!

Prayer: Father,we enter Your gates with thanksgiving, and enter Your courts with praise. Lord, we come to You today, praising You for who You are in our lives. You are our provider; You are our protector; You are our Saviour; You are our God! We thank You for your protection over us, and for being with us in our times of trouble and despair. You promised that You would be with us even until the end of time. Lord, we declare this day that we will no longer bow down to the circumstances arising in our lives, but we will stand on Your word. We understand that we do not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth from the mouth of God. You are our present help in time of trouble; You are our shield and buckler; You are our way out of no way; You are the very air we breathe in and breathe out; You alone are God. Although we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil for You are with us. Thank You, for being with us in our fiery furnace. We know that You are refining us and we shall be as pure gold. We love You, and we praise You, and we shall not cease from giving You all the glory in our lives. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Scripture: "I adorned you with ornaments, put bracelets on your hands and a necklace around your neck."I also put a ring in your nostril, earrings in your ears and a beautiful crown on your head."Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your dress was of fine linen, silk and embroidered cloth. You ate fine flour, honey and oil; so you were exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty." (Ezekiel 16:11-13)

Inspiration: The world can be so cruel at times, and can make you feel as if you are less than what God created you to be. There are so many standards that you may be required to live up to. God expresses His love for His people over and over again in scripture. A lot of times we refer to love as a feeling, when God expresses love through His actions. The bible says, "For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son" (John 3:11). Because of His love for us, He gave (which is an action and not a feeling), the only son He had to die for our sins. I can only imagine how He felt as He hung on that cross, bleeding and suffering, and crying out to God, "Why hast thou forsaken me?" The point to all of this, is that you are special to God and He loves you. There was a story where a young girl was having self esteem problems and her mother bought her a "black girl rock shirt", to lift her confidence. She wanted to change certain attributes that God gave her to fit in somewhere she didn't fit. A lot of us are just like this little girl. We don't like our skin complexion; we don't like our body shape; we don't like our noses; we don't like our lips; we don't like our hair; etc,. God has adorned you with all the right ornaments, and has put all the right bracelets on your hands. Your skin is fine linen that He has embroidered upon you, and your hair is a beautiful crown on your head. Everything that His hands touches is gold, including you- You are the works of His hands. What God has made will never require a makeover-it's priceless! No matter what flaws you may think you have, God created you exceedingly beautiful and has advanced you to royalty, therefore, you ROCK!

Prayer:Thank You Lord for creating me in Your image. Lord, I am certain that everything You made was good because Your word declares it. Lord, replace our insecurities with Your abundant assurances; Help us to see ourselves as You see us- exceedingly beautiful and advanced to royalty, the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, blessed and not cursed and beloved of the Father. Help us to embrace who You have created us to be, and to walk proudly in the skin that you have adorned upon us. You do not look at the outer appearances, as man, but You look at our hearts. We ask that You create a clean heart in us, while continuously renewing the right spirit within us. We ask that you will forgive all those that have come against us in a negative way, and those who may have brought our spirit low. We break the chains of inferiority from our lives, right now in the name of Jesus. We will no longer allow what others say or think about us, to affect how we see ourselves. It is You that has made us, and not we ourselves or man. Thank You, for loving us in our good and our bad; in our flaws and all. In Jesus name. Amen.

Scripture:  "He said: "Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: 'Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.  For the battle is not yours, but God's."(2 Chronicles 20:15)

Inspiration: When the walls of life seem to surround  you, don't be discouraged or fearful. There are some battles in life, we must allow God to fight for us. You may plant and water seeds, but you will never bring the increase; only God does that. Sometimes we can do everything we possibly know to do, and the situation may seem to get worse. But God! When your bills add up to be more than your paycheck, look to God and say-Lord fight this battle for me! When one bill collector is on the phone and another is knocking on the door, look to God and say-Lord fight this battle for me! When you are depressed, oppressed and just plain 'O pressed, on every side, look to God and say-Lord fight this battle for me! If your marriage is in trouble and you have done all that you know to do, look to God and say-Lord fight this battle for me! If your co-workers are constantly trying to plot on your job, look to God and say-Lord fight this battle for me! Whatever the situation may be, give it to God. The problem may just be that you have too many on the battlefield. God doesn't need you, your mamma, your daddy, and Dae Dae and all of them! Maybe God is saying to you the same thing that He spoke to Gideon: "You have too many." It's human nature to want to tell people about our problems, but oftentimes, we find they aren't the ones who can solve the problem. The battle is not yours but the Lord's and He is getting ready to make His encore; so get off the battlefield and let Him have His way!

Prayer: Father, God, thank You for fighting our battles. You never promised us everything would be perfect in this life.  Instead, You tell us that we will have troubles and tribulations; we thank You that you have already won the battle for us and we have the victory in every battle we face. Lord, thank You for going before us on the battlefield and defeating our enemies; we thank You that nothing we face on the battlefield will defeat us; every obstacle, every weight, every burden is under our feet, right now! We have victory in our marriages; we have victory in our finances; we have victory on our jobs; we have victory in every area of our lives, in the name of Jesus. Because You have won the battle for us, we will walk in our victory each day from this day forth. We declare that we are not longer victims but we are victors, in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen.

Scripture: "Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4)

Inspiration: Have you ever caught yourself daydreaming about something that you really want. Day in and day out, this is all that you can dream about. Each of us have some type of desire in our heart.  It may be that  you desire a husband or a wife a new job, a new car or maybe a new home. So, how do we get the desires of our heart? The bible says in Psalm 37:4, "Delight your self in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of  your heart." The dictionary meaning of delight is great pleasure. So if we pleasure ourselves in the Lord, He will give us the desires of our heart. The following is an excerpt from the website hebrew4christians.com:

When we celebrate the presence of the LORD as our chief delight, He will give us the "desires" of our hearts. Note that the word translated "desires" (mishalot) comes from the Hebrew verb sha'al, which means to ask or request something (a she'elah is a question you might ask a teacher). The deepest needs, desires, and questions of our hearts are all bound up in the life and love of God.  Whatever else we might think we desire, God knows that what we truly need is His love and delight within us. When our affections are centered upon the Lord and we delight in Him, the deepest yearnings of our heart will be fulfilled by His personal love and grace for us.  We shall ask what we will, and it shall be given unto us (John 15:7). And we shall be completely satisfied in Him, since our enjoyment and worship of Him is our greatest gift and good, in this life--and in the life to come.
Our lives truly begin, when God becomes the center.  It is then and only then that the desires that we have in our heart will fit in to who we are in Him, and begin to compliment us. You don't have to chase the desires of your heart, just begin to delight yourself in the Lord, and watch the desires of your heart flow richly to you!

Prayer: Father, God, oh how we delight ourselves in You today. We are captured by the love that encompasses us when we are in Your presence. We thank You for the privilege You have given us to come boldly to the throne of grace. We give You our hearts today and ask that You will mold them according to Your will. We take pleasure in worshiping, in glorifying, in uplifting, in exalting, and in praising Your Holy name.  Your name is above every name; by no other name can men be saved; at Your name demons come out; in Your name devils tremble; in Your name is power! You are an incredible God, who deserves an incredible praise.  We thank You for the desires of our hearts chasing us down and overtaking us right now in the name of Jesus. We give You all the honor, all the glory and all the praise that is due Your name. In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Scripture: "When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?" (John 8:10)

Inspiration: We all have done things that we aren't proud of. These are the stones of life that the enemy continuously cast at us. He tries to remind us of our past failures, hurts, and regrets, over and over again. In my case, it was past hurts. This has been the biggest battle for me, because there were some things that I thought I was over, but I wasn't. I had to really come to grips with the fact that I was simply...hurting! When we don't come to grips that we are hurting from our past, the enemy can use this against us-and he will. The bible tells us that we must take all of these negative thoughts captive and cast them down. These thoughts are condemning and can potentially wear us down. This is out of the will of God, because God said for us to set aside every weight that so easily besets us (Hebrews 12:1). Of course, God doesn't want us walking around feeling defeated and condemned, because we are more than conquerors in Jesus Christ! This is a word the enemy never wants you to receive in your spirit, because he understands how dangerous the word of God is for him. So of course, he wants to keep you feeling bad about your past. If he can keep you feeling as if God hasn't forgiven you for your past mistakes, you will only see the worst in yourself. Where is the excitement in that? The singer, Marvin Sapp said, "He saw the best in me, when everyone else could only see the worst in me!" Ask yourself this question: what can I do about my past?-Nothing! You can't change who your children's father is, who your father is, or who your mother is! You can't change anything that has happened in your past, which is why it's just that-your past! Change those things that you can, and the rest, let it do what it do-leave it alone. Stop allowing people to bring up what you did 15 years ago, and show them that same mercy. The only thing that you can do about past mistakes is pray that God will give you the wisdom to not repeat the same mistakes. Sometimes it takes us more than once. I have a PHD from the school of hard-knocks. When the enemy starts accusing you, the word that was manifested in the flesh, stands as your advocate! When you have Jesus, your past must stop casting stones at your future. So, I ask you, where are your accusers?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we thank You for loving us so much that You gave all that you had so that we might live. Thank You, Lord, for shielding us from our accusers who sought to kill us with the stones of our past. We thank You that we are free from all guilt, hurt and shame from our past. We declare this day that our past shall no longer cast stones at our future. We hold fast to Your word that says, he whom the Son has set free is free indeed! We declare that we are free today in the name of Jesus! We shall not hold our heads down, because You are the lifter of our heads and maketh our face to shine! Your word declares that You will not allow our face to be shamed. Bless Your people today, I ask, and lift their spirits in the joy that is only found in You, Lord. Draw them close to you and give them an outpouring of Your love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Scripture: "A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men"( Proverbs 18:16)

Inspiration: Isn't it awesome how God bestows wonderful gifts upon each of us?  Moreover, we don't have to stress about making room in our lives for them, because they'll make room for us! God gives us a bonus with our gifts, the gift we have can bring us before great men! Wow! What an awesome God we serve. That smile that you have could brighten someone's day! Your listening to others who are in need of an ear, can prevent them from giving up on life. It was the gift of dreams and interpretation of dreams that brought Joseph before great men. In Genesis 40, Joseph interpreted a dream for the cup bearer, and when the dream came to pass, the cup bearer remembered Joseph and brought him before Pharaoh. There are many stories in the bible where someone's gift brought them before great men! There are times, however, when you are not completely confident in the gift God has given you. It could be a physical insecurity-weight, skin complexion, fear of not being attractive, etc. Moses was called by God to lead the children of Israel, but he wasn't confident in his speech. Exodus 4:11 says, "Then Moses said to the LORD, 'Please, Lord, I have never been eloquent, neither recently nor in time past, nor since You have spoken to Your servant; for I am slow of speech and slow of tongue."Moses had the vision, the vision, but not the speech, which gave way for Aaron's gift! Whatever gift God has given you- use it! Believe with all your heart that in due season your gift will make room for you. So work your gift and let others work theirs.  They can't work yours like you, and you can't theirs like they can. Be happy and confident in what God put in you. Every once in a while, glance in the mirror and tell yourself, "Man! Your gift looks good on you and you wear it well!"

Prayer: Father, we thank You for each gift that You have given us.  When we accept and exercise the gifts that You have given to us, we bring glory and honor to You. Open each of our eyes to see the gift that You have given us, so that You will be glorified. Thank You that our gift was purposely and divinely created for us. It fits us just right and we have plenty of room in it! It's not too tight and it's not too loose; it fits us just right. We reject all insecurities that we may have that is hindering us or discouraging us to exercise our gift right now, Father; and we thank You for our gifts, because they truly look good on us and we wear them well. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

Scripture: "But when the plot came to the king's attention, he issued written orders that the evil scheme Haman had devised against the Jews should come back onto his own head, and that he and his sons should be impaled on poles." (Esther 9:25)

Inspiration: The book of Esther tells the story of how an enemy's plot to kill all of the Jews, backfired on them. Sometimes the plot that looks like it's just aimed at you, is actually aimed at you and your family. Esther 9:24 says, "For Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the adversary of all the Jews, had schemed against the Jews to destroy them and had cast Pur, that is the lot, to disturb them and destroy them." In Daniel 6, it tells about how Daniel's enemies devised a plan against him, but to no avail. Daniel 6:24 says, "At the king's command, the men who had falsely accused Daniel were brought in and thrown into the lions' den, along with their wives and children. And before they reached the floor of the den, the lions overpowered them and crushed all their bones." Not only were the men killed, their family was killed too. Isn't it amazing how people will devise an evil plan against you, when you have done nothing to them. The Jews had done nothing to Haman and Daniel had done nothing to his coworkers, but they became jealous of them. We don't have to be jealous of anyone, because what God does for one, He will surely do for the next. God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11), and moreover, is searching for someone He can bless (2 Chronicles 16:9). Don't despair when your enemy devise evil plans and plots to take you out. You see, it was the words from the mouth of Mordecai's enemy, that beautifully adorned him from his head to his feet (Esther 6:6-10). And guess what? His enemy had to dress him in his robe! So don't worry about the plots and schemes of your enemies- just eat the cake Anna Mae!

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your shield of protection and favor around us today. We thank You for preparing a table for us in the presence of our enemies. Although, our enemies desired to send us to the gallows, You said not so, and delivered us from their hands. We bless those that have cursed us and we pray for those who have despitefully used us; we forgive all those who have said and done hurtful things to us. You said, Lord, that we are to forgive those who have trespassed against us; Because we are the children of the Most High, we do not render evil for evil, therefore, great will be our reward. We thank You that You are kind to the ungrateful and even to the wicked. We choose to walk in the fruits of the spirit- love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control this day; and because we are walking in the fruits of the spirit, no weapon that is formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue is condemned that rises against us in judgment. Thank You, Father, that you have made our enemies our footstool. We are grateful that You have turned what the enemy meant for a DEMOTION into a PROMOTION, and for this, we give You praise! It is in Jesus' name that we pray and give thanks.  Amen.

Scripture: "Yet you, LORD, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter, we are all the work of your hand." (Isaiah 64:8)

Inspiration: The potter has a unique way of designing and sculpturing his masterpieces. Having an opportunity to see a potter at work is priceless.  They are focused on their sculpture, and has already visualized what the final work will look like.  Although it looks like a big clump of clay to our eyes, the potter sees something far more appealing and beautiful.  He sees his finished product, whereas, we do not. A scripture that often comes to mind when I am going through a low period in my life is Jeremiah 29:11, "I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God is our potter and He knows what our outcome will be. A popular children's fable says: humpty dumpty sat on a wall, humpty dumpty had a great fall, all the king's horses and all the king's men, couldn't put humpty dumpty back together again. When we go through something in our lives, we can feel shattered and broken into pieces. Jeremiah 17:14 (The message bible) says, "God, pick up the pieces. Put me back together again. You are my praise!" The truth is, some of us are broken and shattered into so many pieces, that God is the only one who can put us back together again. Don't go to the the king's horses or to the king's men, because they can't put you back together again-only the potter can do that!

Prayer: Father, thank You for the plans that You have for our lives.  We know that those plans are not to harm us but to prosper us, and we know that it's Your will that we prosper even as our soul prospers. Lord, we thank You that You are our potter and that You are molding us and sculpturing us into what You want us to be.  We are masterpieces from the work of Your hands! Restore these broken and shattered pieces of clay, Lord, and shape us in Your word; and mold us in Your righteousness. Adorn us with Your love and make us whole again.  In Jesus' name we ask. Amen.

Scripture: "Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea, 'and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that wheat he says is going to happen, it will be granted him." (Mark 11:23)

Inspiration: A mountain can represent situations in your life that either stand in the way of your destiny or purpose, or prevent you from seeing them. When we pray, God wants us to visualize that mountain standing in our way, moving as we speak His word. The word says that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). He said in our key verse, if we believe in our hearts without a doubt, that whatever mountain you speak to will have to move. John 1:1 says, In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God, so we can't separate God  from His word.  His word is a part of Him and shall remain. The bible tells us that heaven and earth shall pass away, but His word shall remain (Mark 13:31).  He cannot lie and His word shall never return to him void, but will accomplish that which He pleases (Isaiah 55:11). When dealing with any situation-financial, physical, mental, or spiritual, trust that His word is true and stand on it without any doubt. Why? Because ain't no mountain high enough!

Prayer: Father, thank You for your word that is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path; thank You that Your word is more powerful than ANY two-edged sword; Thank You that Your word is truth and life. Thank You, Lord, that Your word is bread to the hungry and water to the thirsty; Lord we believe in our hearts that the mountains standing in our way are no match for Your word. We speak to every mountain standing in our way wishing to abort our assignment; we speak to every mountain standing in our way wishing to bring lack in our lives; we speak to every mountain standing in our way wishing to bring confusion in our homes; we speak to every mountain standing in our way wishing to distract us from our assignment; we speak to every mountain that wishes to bring division in the body; we speak to every mountain that wishes to take our children out; we speak to every mountain that wishes to take our peace and destroy our purpose: mountain we command you to move in the name of Jesus! Get out of our way and be cast in to the sea, in the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Scripture: "And it came to pass, when Joseph was come unto his brethren, that they stript Joseph out of his coat, his coat of many colours that was on him." (Genesis 37:23)

Inspiration: Joseph shared his dreams with the wrong people, and as a result, was sold into slavery. On top of being sold into slavery, he was stript of his coat of many colours. However, in the midst of what seemed to be the end of him, was only the beginning. God has this awesome way of showing beauty through flaws; and power through weakness; He will bring something out of nothing and make the bad work for our good! He knows how to show you who's really in control. They may have stript him from his outer layer, but they couldn't touch what God had brewing up on the inside of him! They thought if they eliminated the dreamer, that the dream would be eliminated. What they failed to realize was that conception had already taken place! Joseph was already pregnant with the dream, and it was growing and in its last trimester. By the time he reached Egypt, he was having contractions and shortly went into labor! In reality, the only thing his enemies did, was give him a lift to the delivery room! Praise God for every trial in your life, because they are only contractions letting you know that you are almost in labor!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we praise You for all that You have done for Us. You are a powerful and awesome God; the Heavens proclaim the work of Your hands; The earth belongs to You and the fullness thereof, so Lord we humble ourselves as we come before your presence; Lord we thank you that you are our shield and buckler and the hill from which cometh our help; You have given us power to trample upon the scorpions and snakes surrounding us; You said in your word that a thousand may fall on our left side and ten thousand on our right side but it will not come near us. When the enemy come in like a flood, It's You Lord, who will lift up a standard against him. Lord let each one of us who are pregnant with a dream, PUSH through the contractions of life. Give us strength to PUSH until we give birth to the dreams and aspirations you have placed inside of us; and Father in giving birth, may we always give you praise, honor and all the glory, by putting you first in everything that we do. May your blessing rest upon your people as You bless the work of our hands. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Scripture: "And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death; That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man." (Judges 16:16-17)

Inspiration: Sometimes the pressures of life will weigh in hard on you, to the point, you won't know whether you are coming or going. You may even feel vexed unto death just as Sampson did. Delilah nagged him and nagged him until finally Sampson gave in to her, revealing his secret. So what made Delilah successful in her mission? It was her persistence. What's your Delilah? It's in these times that you have to prove to be more persistent than those Delilahs. To accomplish this mission, we need God's strength, by drawing even closer to Him. He is a promise keeper, who promises to draw nigh to us if we would draw nigh to Him! We draw nigh to Him by spending time in His word and talking with Him. He promises that He would never leave or forsake us, and even reassures us that nothing can separate us from His love. Continue to trust God because He cares about whatever you are going through right now. Continue to dwell in that secret place of the Almighty, because under His wings is everything that you need.  Be encouraged in the Lord today, and don't allow those Delilahs to put a razor upon your head!

Prayer: Father God, we bless Your holy name on this day in which You have given us.  We thank You, Lord, and bless Your holy name for Your many blessings that are showering over our heads right now. We are so grateful to serve a God who cares and loves us the way that You do. We ask that you forgive us for all known and unknown trespasses that we have committed against You or our neighbor; and ask that You would create in us a clean heart and renew the right spirit within us. Right now, father, we ask that You would strengthen us and fill us up with Your peace.  You promise us that in Your presence is the fullness of joy, and we want to receive Your joy right now.  Refill us! Replenish us! Restore us! Renew us, with Your Holy Spirit. We want to dwell in that secret place of the Most High while abiding under the shadows of Your wings. We want to mount up wings as eagles and soar over ever mountain arising in our lives. We thank You that weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. We declare that we are soaring as eagles over the mountains of depression; over the mountains of condemnation; over the mountains of lack; over the mountains of despair; over the mountains of hurt; we declare that we are soaring over every Delilah that is attempting to cut off our hair, right now in the name of Jesus. We receive Your peace in our lives, right now Father; In the awesome and marvelous name of Jesus, Amen.
